East Bay’s thriving art culture will be center-framed at an upcoming art exhibit in Hayward.
Art of the Bay will feature the work of local artists, many of whom will be displaying their work for the first time. This will be the inaugural show for this group.
The art show has a party vibe. Along with a video game contest, local vendors will be selling food, and there will be live music with a DJ. There will also be a cosplay contest, which is a performance art show where the actors wear fashion accessories and costumes to represent their characters.
Art of the Bay was formed to give the local art community an outlet and safe space to be creative and to publicize their work.
Early bird tickets are just $5. Tickets at the door are $7. Children under 12 and active military personnel and veterans are free. For $25 patrons can purchase the Art of the Bay Supporter Package, which includes an Art of the Bay T-shirt, small poster and button, and admission to the event.
Organizers of events such as this one can get buttons and other Promotional Products, plus poster printing, done at local Print shops.
Art of the Bay is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 10 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Hayward Veterans Memorial, 22737 Main Street in Hayward.
