Hayward hosts inclusivity event

This April, a Hayward nonprofit will hold the All Abilities Celebration for Individuals with Autism and Special Needs event to ensure the community has a safe, welcoming place to celebrate neurodiversity.

The event will be held by Fearless Path, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded by Ria and David Lancaster. Everything began when Ria and David’s son Balian was diagnosed with autism and Ria started Twinkies Krafts, an Etsy shop of handmade crafts, to raise awareness for those with autism. The endeavor grew from a simple shop to Fearless Path, a nonprofit that builds a community for neurodiverse individuals to thrive in. The organization holds safe, inclusive events where neurodiverse individuals can feel welcomed, empowered, and at home.

The All Abilities Celebration will feature sensory activities, arts and crafts, and games and interactive fun. There will also be a silent disco, photo booth, and live performance from The Dream Achievers. Community resource booths and vendors will be present, and there will even be a visit from the Easter Bunny.

Posters are often used as advertising materials for events like this as they can display information in a visually appealing way. Community organizers may seek out local Print shops that offer such poster printing services to prepare these materials.

The All Abilities Celebration is slated for April 4 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It will be held at Veteran's Memorial, located at 22737 Main Street, Hayward.
