Hayward preparing for summer celebrations

This summer, downtown Hayward will be heating up during an series of events that will bring the community and visitors together in a spirit of fun.

The city’s downtown core will be the location for these big street parties, and they will feature live music on several stages, as well as a car show, busker styled street entertainers, rides for the younger folks, and face painting. A beer garden will be set up, and the whole event will be within easy reach of the BART Hayward Station.

Those who come to the festivities will be able to browse through more than 100 classics, hotrods and other vehicles that will be on display, and five different stages will be erected throughout the downtown area. Food will be available for purchase, and many of the activities will be offered free of charge.

The organizers noted that there is ample free parking in the vicinity of the street party for those who would like to drive, and public transport is also an option. Print shops will be able to supply everything from signage to business Forms, Banners, Packaging, and other materials needed to ensure a large celebration like this goes smoothly.
