Grow Canvas Grow, a Hayward-based art podcast, will host its first art-related pop-up next month entitled Summer Stack: Art Pop-Up Presented by the Art of the Bay.
Grow Canvas Grow is a podcast series featuring conversations, interviews, and sessions from various Bay artists. The art collective highlights local artists, and this pop-up is another way of showcasing the creative talents of artists and small businesses in the Bay Area.
The pop-up will feature over 30 vendors specializing in original paintings, handmade goods, Stationery art, Apparel, comics, cosmetics, home décor, ceramics, jewelry, artisan soaps, and much more. There will also be various food vendors, games, and fun family activities. There will also be a live DJ playing music suitable for the whole family. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the event space.
Organizers will also be selling limited-edition event shirts with the event Logo Design on them. Interested attendees can pre-order these shirts on the Eventbrite website. It is recommended that attendees purchase these shirts as soon as possible, as they may sell out quickly.
The Hayward art pop-up is scheduled for August 12 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held at the Hayward Veterans Memorial, which is located at 22737 Main Street. Admission is free. Children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult when attending.
