Hayward area park set to reopen

An area park has undergone the first phase of a renovation project, and the public has been invited to come and check out the changes for themselves.

The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) Board of Directors has issued an invitation to attend the re-opening of San Lorenzo Community Park. Those who come out will have an opportunity to be among the first to see the improvements that have been made.

The event is set to begin at 10:00 am, and it will include tours of the upgrades to the park, and refreshments will be served to the guests. The renovation project began back in 2015, and it focused on the active play zone and softball complex, while adding a new pond zone. According to the HARD, the changes came about due, in part, to the community which was very active in its support for the enhancements. Banner printing and other Print services for an event like this can be sourced from a printer in the local area.

The opening celebration has been scheduled for the morning of March 3, and the facility is located at 1970 Via Buena Vista in San Lorenzo. There is no fee being charged to take part in the activities, and no advance registration is required. The Hayward Recreation website includes more details for anyone who needs them.
