The Keep Hayward Clean committee and the Green Task Force are hosting Spring into Action in late March.
The aim is to clean up any trash left behind, tackle some weeds, and help beautify the neighborhood overall. It will be an opportunity to get people outdoors and to clean up before Earth Day in April. It is also a chance to get to know the neighbors and those who are invested in keeping the community clean and attractive.
Those who participate will be eligible to win a $25 gift card for Wing Stop and a $25 gift card for Starbucks.
Participants must register in advance by March 25, and are also required to bring their own masks and gloves. Garbage Bags and other necessities will be provided by organizers. This event can also help students and others earn community service hours. Green Task Force and Keep Hayward Clean representatives will be on hand to provide information about their programs.
To advertise community events such as this, Hayward Stationery printers are often asked if they can provide marketing materials that can be distributed in the area and encourage more people to attend.
