Solar energy and other alternatives can provide an option that is both economical and friendly to the environment, and during an event that has been planned for Chula Vista, the public will have an opportunity to learn more about it.
The Climate Action Campaign and the Center for Sustainable Energy will be joining forces with Sullivan Solar Power to showcase solar energy and all it can do. It will begin with a short introduction to the different energy efficiency programs that are supported by the community. After this, each of the participating organizations will discuss what they are and what they do, and this will be followed by an electronic car demonstration and a solar energy-powered device showcase.
This portion of the event will feature an assortment of technology that can help to save electricity and also different solar devices that are available to consumers. There will also be information about various initiatives and public policies that have been put into place to minimize the impact of climate change.
