Many people are not aware of just how important the soil under their feet can be when it comes to the health of the environment, and a Chula Vista area has been planned to help people develop a greater appreciation of this resource.
Two different activities have been planned, and locals are welcome to check both of them out. While they explore both of the operations, they will discover how the farm and garden are supported by the rich soil that can be found at both sites.
Both the Tijuana River Valley (TRV) Community Garden and Wild Willow Farm will be open to the public, and plans are being made to offer an assortment of activities for all ages at the two locations. This event is being offered through the support of the Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego County, and there is no cost to participate.
Wild Willow Farm and Education Center will be hosting this day of learning, and the family friendly fun will begin at 1:00 pm. Brochure printing can be used to prepare educational materials for an event like this, and these can help those who come out to discover as much as they can about the important role soil plays in their life.
The event will be held on November 17. The venue is located at 2550 Sunset Avenue in San Diego.
