Chula Vista residents with a sweet tooth will want to check out Donut Fest San Diego – it may not be the healthiest festival in the area, but it sure is one of the tastiest.
Doughnuts accompanied by locally brewed craft beer or coffee are on the menu for an afternoon of food and fun.
General admission tickets start at $10. Tickets include doughnut tasting from a variety of stations, one beer ticket, a vote to name the best doughnut, samples of non-alcoholic beverages, and an opportunity to use the photo booth and enter the doughnut-eating contest.
VIP tickets are $25 and VIPs get an extra beer, a goody bag, and chances to win the raffle and other prize giveaways. Tickets prices will rise as the date of the event gets closer, and some of the proceeds will go to the Hospitality Fund.
VIP tasting will take place between 1pm and 3pm. General admission begins after that, so VIP ticket holders get the first chance to taste the delectable doughnuts.
