Chula Vista veterans and their spouses who are seeing employment on ‘civvy street’ have been invited to get involved in an event that will be held in San Diego this fall.
The Naval Base San Diego Career Fair will be bringing together former military members and their spouses with a variety of employers. They will have an opportunity to meet with them face to face, and there will be other activities on offer as well.
The doors of the career fair will open at 10:00 for check in, and after that, there will be opening remarks and then the event will officially begin. Along with the businesses and organizations that will be seeking future employees, an assortment of community resource providers and other supports will be participating and sharing information with the attendees. There will also be details shared about different military family benefits that may be available, and lots of time for networking.
