A Chula Vista area class will introduce the basics of succulent planting and care in an event that will be suitable for all ages.
The team at Terra Bella Nursery, Inc. in San Diego will be teaching members of the public how to craft a simple dish garden of plants that tend to do well together. All of the materials needed for the project will be provided to the registrants, and it will be an in-person event.
Each attendee for the activity will receive an unfinished planting box, as well as six different succulents to use. Seasonal accents such as colored leaves, faux pumpkins and evergreen cones will also be included, as will dry moss, and all instructions needed to prepare the plants will also be supplied. The fee for the session is $25.
Along with their finished project, the attendees will each go home with a card printed with care tips for their new dish garden so they can keep it healthy and looking great. Stationery printers will be able to craft a variety of custom printed items to use during a workshop.
Terra Bella Nursery Inc. will be offering the public a chance to get growing with this succulent class on November 12. It will kick off at 11:30 am, and the registration process can be completed via Eventbrite.
