Chula Vista golfers and those who just want to have an afternoon of fun with friends will soon have an excuse to hit the links for an afternoon that has been billed as being the community’s ‘funnest’.
The fundraiser, which is being held in support of a variety of not-for-profit groups in the local area, will include a full agenda of activities. The organizers of the occasion noted that people do not even have to know how to play a game of golf to get in on the excitement.
Guests at the event will be able to enjoy music and other entertainment, and a real helicopter drop will see one lucky participant walk away with a $1,000 cash prize. The Chula Vista Animal Shelter will have some furry friends on site that are hoping to find a loving home of their own, and there will be many other activities planned as well.
The proceeds from the function will be used to help support a variety of local groups. These include the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility, the Chula Vista Police and Fire Foundations, and the Chula Vista Citizens Adversity Support Team. Both tickets and corporate sponsorships are available, and there are also options for those who would like to attend only the dinner portion of the day. Stationery printers will be able to provide programs and other materials for an event like this.
