A Chula Vista event that shows that the LGBTQA+ community, along with its allies, has the full support of the community is not far away, and it's intended to be an activity that is fun for all.
Rainbow Spaces will bring its Rainbow Ride back for 2022, and it was explained that it was first held during the Covid pandemic when large gatherings couldn’t happen. It will see decorated cars and the vehicles form a caravan that makes its way from Chula Vista Mall to Otay ranch Town Center.
Those who would like to be a part of the parade are asked to RSVP, and before they arrive for the drive, they can decorate their entry to show support for the LGBTQA+ community. At the end of the route, they will find a resource fair set up, and this will be filled with an assortment of supportive charitable groups. There is enough room for 30 displays, and the fee charged will depend upon the not for profit group’s budget.
A vehicle procession can both show support and raise awareness and a banner printing company will be happy to help. It can supply everything from flags and Banners to magnetic signage, all of which may be printed with a customer’s choice of graphic design.
The third annual Rainbow Ride will be held in Chula Vista on October 8th. Its website provides an opportunity for the general public as well as interested not for profit groups to register.
