This fall, the Chula Vista area will be hopping with excitement, thanks to a local event that will put domestic rabbits in the spotlight.
The San Diego House Rabbit Society will be welcoming bunny lovers for its Bunnyfest gathering. It is an open air festival with an agenda filled with activities and learning opportunities.
The festivities will include workshops and other sessions that provide a chance to learn about rabbits and their care, and an art social, bunny photo booth, kids craft area, games, a vendor market, and silent auction are all in the works. While bunnies may be brought along, they much be immunized against rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus-2 (RHDV2), as this will help to keep all the furry friends protected.
To help ensure the celebration is another success, the organizers are seeking sponsors from the local area. It may be a good fit for businesses that specialize in companion animal care and products. Printed programs and other materials for a function can be prepared by a printing services company, and these often include a thank-you to its supporters.
Bunnyfest 2025 will be hopping into the Chula Vista area on Sunday, September 21. Liberty Station, which is located at 2705 Cushing Road in San Diego, will be the venue for the day, and free parking will be available on site.
