The Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for its upcoming golf tournament.
This is the 17th year for the event, which is an important annual fundraiser for the chamber and local organizations.
The tournament is more than a fundraiser and excuse to get out of the office for a day. The top three finishers of the day will qualify for the Randy Jones Invitational, a prestigious tournament with a grand prize of a free golf vacation to Pebble Beach and a $10,000 donation to a charity of the winner's choice.
There are eight sponsorship packages available for the Chula Vista event. The top packages will give businesses prominent name and logo signage throughout the course and the ensuing dinner. Sponsors will also get signage posted at one of the tee Boxes and will get recognized during the awards ceremony.
Registration is available now for players wanting to participate. The fee is $2,000 for a team of four or $500 per individual player. The fee includes green fees, cart rental, lunch and dinner, and some free whacks at the driving range.
Part of proceeds from the golf tournament go to the South Bay YMCA and the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce. Events such as these can use local printing services for sponsored Banners and signage.
The 17th Annual Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 31 at the Premier San Diego Country Club, 88 L Street in Chula Vista. Shotgun start is at 10:00 am.
