Time to celebrate for Carlsbad class of 1989
Thirty years ago, Carlsbad High School’s class of 1989 took to the stage to receive their diplomas. This summer, they are invited to reunite, reconnect and celebrate, and a full weekend of fun has been planned to mark the occasion.
Since many of the participants in the event may not have seen each other for quite some time, the plan is for the event to open with a mixer where the former students can meet and catch up while they share memories and talk about “the good old days”. Programs that include photos of each of the attendees, as well as details about what they have been up to over the past three decades, can be a fun souvenir of an event like this, and a brochure printing company will be able to prepare them.
On Saturday, the group will be free to make their own daytime plans, and during the evening, they will be welcome to attend a function where there will be dinner, music, and dancing. There will be a hosted bar, and the fun will keep on going until 11:30 pm. Sunday will be a family beach day, and the organizers noted they are hoping to book a gazebo for the occasion.
Tickets for the event can be purchased for $100 up until July 1. After this, the price will go up. The reunion will run from August 2 to 4, and anyone with questions can get in touch with the planners by contacting CHSClassof1989reunions@gmail.com.
