Biannual festival returns to Carlsbad

Carlsbad will soon be celebrating an open-air festival that takes place twice each year.

The Carlsbad Village Street Faire has been held since 1975, and it is still one of the largest events of its kind in the United States. Organizers claim that this May event is slated to draw more than 100,000 visitors from nearby communities.

To put these observations into perspective, no fewer than 800 separate arts and crafts booths have already been confirmed. These provide guests with a wide range of options if they wish to purchase handmade goods, pick up a few souvenirs, or simply enjoy a day out with the family.

This spring festival offers a host of unique attractions. In addition to the vendors, attendees can frequent an international food court, a pancake breakfast open to the public, and access play areas designated for children.

Events that take place twice each year will often use proven marketing methods that have worked well in the past. Some possibilities include procuring the services of local Print shops to create Flyers, placing Brochures in public venues, and advertising across various radio stations.

The 2026 Carlsbad Village Street Faire is being held on Sunday, May 3rd from 8 am to 4 pm. All events will take place in downtown Carlsbad along Grand Avenue. The event is free to attend, and guests can make on-site purchases if desired.
