Carlsbad residents have begun clearing their schedules for a fitness event scheduled to be held in February.

This event will enable attendees to learn some of the latest exercise techniques while simultaneously enjoying the great outdoors.

Branded as "Spread the Love: Valentine's Beach Pilates," this class will focus on various movements associated with the Pilates system. Pilates is an approach to fitness that caters to all ages, and skill levels. Users can choose from a host of routines depending on their goals, experience, and capabilities.

While primarily associated with Pilates, visitors can also meet other fitness enthusiasts, and experience a connection with nature. All amenities will be provided, but those who wish to attend should still bring their own Pilates mat.

One-off events associated with annual holidays will use time-sensitive marketing techniques. Local brochure printing, flyer distribution, and handing out leaflets to the public are all well-known methods.
