Taking up most of the month of June, the San Diego County Fair will be held in nearby Del Mar, less than a 20 minute drive from Carlsbad.
This year's event, dubbed the Fab Fair, is paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' first visit to the U.S. That visit paved the way for a later ‘British invasion’ of music as well as pop culture.
The month-long event provides numerous entertainment choices, including animals, car shows, competitive exhibits, eating (fair food and more upscale selections), games, rides, and shopping. An assortment of music entertainment will be available as well.
In addition to the continuous attractions, special events will take place at the fair at specific times and days as well. There will be Swiftly Swine races, a hypnotist, a magician, and the popular Wild West Turkey Stampede. Moreover, there are festivals taking place during the fair, such as The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival on June 14th and the San Diego International Beer Festival on the weekend of June 20th-22nd.
Helping fairgoers keep track of all of these attractions, events and festivals require a significant amount of banner and poster printing supplied by Print companies. Printing services also are employed by vendors at the fair, who are supplied with Flyers and Brochures to hand out to attendees.
