Pet event incoming near Carlsbad
Members of the public in Carlsbad and the surrounding area who would like to add a new member to their family may be interested in a special event on the way in February.
A meet-and-greet style activity will soon be held at Pets Plus in Vista, and some small companion animals will be on hand for the public to meet. Many will be available for adoption for a suitable forever home, and there will be information provided about volunteering and fostering animals in need of refuge.
Small dogs, lizards, and snakes will be the stars of the show at the event, and the public that drops by can ask questions and learn more about their care. There will be personnel on hand to offer tips and advice, and the event may be a good chance to find out if one of these possible pets is right for them. Donations will be accepted, and these will be used by Small Breed Rescue of Southern California and Reptiles to undertake its important work.
