Notary Public training and exam to be offered in Carlsbad
A class has been organized for Carlsbad that will train those who take part to be Notary Publics in the state of California. It is also open to current notaries who would like to renew their commission.
The one-day crash course will cover all aspects of the profession, including the regulations that govern the practice, the forms that are required, and the fines and penalties that have recently been changed.
Once the participants complete their registration, they will be able to go online, peruse the State Notary Handbook, and review a list of 138 potential sample exam questions with a goal of being ready to successfully pass the 38-question state exam that all notaries are required to take. A company that provides printing services will be able to supply handouts and any other materials that are needed for a training event like this.
Each person who plans on taking the course will need to provide a current ID that includes a photo and a money order or check made out to the Secretary of State. Cash will not be accepted. A passport sized color photo will also be required.
