A new business dedicated to encouraging a healthy lifestyle is on the way for Carlsbad.
Vitality Bowls is an eatery that offers its patrons menu choices based on the use of “super foods” such as acai berries. The location is being opening by Divya and Vikas Gupta, who are local entrepreneurs. It will be its first such restaurant in the city.
The café chain first started in northern California, and has a menu that features healthy choices prepared using methods that avoid cross contamination of food, so that it is safe for those who have allergies to certain ingredients. Each item is freshly made when it is ordered. Along with its bowls, it has a children’s menu, and also offers soups, paninis, fresh squeezed juices and salads.
A spokesperson for the parent company, founder and CEO Tara Gilda, noted that she is pleased that the Guptas have come on board, and feels that they are an ideal match for the business. The chain currently has 20 locations across the USA, with 40 or more in the works. A printer can produce a wide variety of Promotional Products for use by eating establishments such as this.
The new Vitality Bowl will be situated at Aviara Parkway and El Camino Real. According to the Guptas, they plan to open more franchises in San Diego and the surrounding area.
