The ever popular Eggstavaganza Spring Festival will be held at Poinsettia Community Park in early April this year.
Loads of activities will greet attendees of Carlsbad’s Spring Festival, with the main event being the ongoing ‘egg scramble’. Kids in groups of 20 or 30 will scramble to collect a field of eggs after which the field will be reset and another group will get their chance.
Three fields will be used for the egg scramble: one for kids aged six and over, another for those under six, and a third noncompetitive one for special needs children, young children, and families wishing to pose for a photo op.
Other activities will include opportunities to be photographed with the Easter bunny, a family scavenger hunt, a giant slide, bounce houses, and chances to “soak the bunny”.
In an effort to ensure everyone has a good time and avoids lines, fun zone wristbands and activity cards can be purchased in advance. They will both be on sale 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday from March 16 to April 3 at the community centers at Alga Norte, Calavera Hills, Stagecoach, and Harding.
One of the most cost effective methods of reminding residents that the Carlsbad Eggstravaganza Spring Festival will be held on April 4, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, would be by using a flyer printing service.
