Carlsbad vets encouraged to be part of area retiree expo
Carlsbad veteran are invited to be among the group of honorees at an event that will be hosted by Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton later this year.
It will be an opportunity to gather information, network, with other veterans and have some fun as well, and it is all free of charge.
A large selection of public and private sector organizations and other vendors have already signed on to participate in the 2019 Retiree Expo, and the list is expected to grow as the date of the event draws closer. They have been chosen because they meet the needs of former military members, and as the doors of the function will open at 7:30 am, it can easily accommodate the “early birds” in the crowd.
The department of Veterans Affairs, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Health Net Federal Services, and the Military Officers Association of America are just a few of the organizations that will be included in the event, and many will have or booth or display set up. The function is slated to be held in the Pacific Views Event Center, and its official start time is 8:30 am.
Those who attend this sort of occasion often arrive wanting to gather as much information as they can. Pamphlets, leaflets, and other materials from a brochure printing company can make it easy for the vendors to supply them with the details they are looking for.
September 7 has been chosen to be the date for this annual event, and all vets are welcome. It is scheduled to wrap up at 1:00 pm.
