Carlsbad tour to visit Camp Pendleton
Camp Pendleton plays a significant role in the economy of the Carlsbad area, and an activity planned by Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce will provide a sneak peek behind the gate into the day-to-day operations of the base.
A very limited number of seats remains available on the Camp Pendleton Bus Tour, which will depart from 5934 Priestly Drive in Carlsbad. Participants will travel by bus, and it has been personalized for Chamber members only.
Tickets for the tour are $55 each, and the final date to submit a request to take part is Tuesday, April 15. The group will visit Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367, and will also tour 11th Marine Artillery Gun Park to view Howitzers and cannons.
The function has been organized by the Chamber with support from the Military Affairs Committee and the Veterans Association of North County.
