Carlsbad to welcome return of Rotary Oktoberfest fun
This fall, Carlsbad beer lovers will be raising a stein in honor of Oktoberfest, and while they enjoy themselves, they will be doing a good turn for their community.
The Rotary Club has chapters all over the world that engage in community service projects, and in Carlsbad, it will be bringing its Oktoberfest Fall festival back for its 40th year. The monies raised will be used by the group to help others, and with fun for all ages, the whole family can get in on the excitement of the occasion.
The function will feature a variety of beers on tap, and traditional German fare will be served to the crowd. Music will keep everyone tapping their toes, and the kids will be invited to enjoy the activities on offer for them. Anyone who would like to wear Oktoberfest or other traditional German garb is encouraged to do so, and the goal is for everyone to get to know one another and have a great time.
Marketing a fundraiser is usually one of the keys to its success, and print shops will be able to help in a variety of ways. One of the services it will be able to provide is banner printing, and this may be used to produce an assortment of themed decor.
The 2022 Carlsbad Rotary Oktoberfest celebration will be held on October 1, and the gates will open to ticket holders at 12:00 pm. It will take place at 1050 Cannon Road.
