Carlsbad to offer afternoon of Halloween fun

Carlsbad is already gearing up for an afternoon of Halloween themed fun, and all ages are on the guestlist.

The Village Fair Shopping Center has scheduled four hours of fun for late October, and the spooky affair will be family friendly. The list of activities includes options for all ages, and everyone is welcome to wear their costume.

The festivities will get started with music provided by a DJ wearing attire, and a photo booth will also be on site. After this, a local celebrity in Halloween clothing will arrive for a performance, meet and greet, and photo ops, and a costume contest is also in the works. A show that combines comedy with magic will follow.

There will be even more fun on offer at the Boys and Girls Club at 3115 Roosevelt Street, which will include games, a pumpkin patch, and a movie, and tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door for as long as supplies last. Food and drinks will be available.

Many Halloween celebrations include a costume contest, and both people and pets may get involved. Award certificates and Corporate Gifts to offer as prizes can be obtained from a local printer.
