Carlsbad Rotary Clubs undertake a variety of local and international community service projects, and one of these will be a celebration of the city's food service industry.
The Rotary Club of Carlsbad and the Hi-Noon Rotary Club will be partnering to present a modified version of its annual Oktoberfest celebration. Various eateries in the city will be taking part, and the monies raised will be passed along to area not-for-profit organizations.
Anyone who would like to take part can order a ticket ahead of the event, and the suggested donation is $5. This will entitle the bearer to receive an assortment of discounts and other perks throughout the month of October. A full list of the restaurants that have chosen to get involved in the program will be made available closer to the date.
