Alzheimer's San Diego will be the host for an outing to an area Botanic Garden, and those who call Carlsbad home are welcome to be on the guestlist.
The group has planned an excursion to San Diego Botanic Garden, and the participants will visit the site for one and a half hours. There are only a limited number of spaces available, and advance registration is needed to participate.
The outing will visit the gardens so the participants can enjoy the flowers, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife that calls it home. They will be able to engage their senses of sight, sound, and smell, and they will learn about the site’s assorted flora and fauna as they go. When it is time to leave for home, everyone will receive a special gift to take with them, and the activity is part of the host organization’s “Connections Outing” program.
