An event that will give Carlsbad golfers an excuse to hit the greens will also raise money for the North County Food Bank.
The annual Drive Out Hunger golf classic will offer a day of fun at Shadow Ridge Golf Club, and while the registrants are teeing off, they will be lending a hand to their neighbors in need. CDC guidelines for the prevention of Covid will be followed, and registrations are now being accepted to take part.
The plans for the day kick off with check-in and registration, and the shotgun start is scheduled for 12:00 noon. Once everyone has played through, they will be invited to gather for a cocktail hour and live auction, which will help to raise even more funds for the cause. Anyone who would like to get involved can purchase a ticket that grants them entry to the entire day, or just the cocktail hour and auction.
Many events like this depend upon the generosity of the local business community that chooses to sponsor the activity. Including their Logo Design offers a simple way to recognize their community spirit.
This year’s Drive Out Hunger Golf Classic will be teeing off on July 26. Anyone who plans on being part of the fun is encouraged to visit the North County Food Bank website for further details.
