As another winter turns to spring, Carlsbad’s The Flower Fields comes alive with color. The public is invited to take some time from their busy schedule to enjoy their beauty while they relax over a cup of tea.
The afternoon tea will offer a touch of tranquility and elegance in peaceful surroundings. The ticket price includes admission to the flower fields, but as only a limited number have been made available for purchase, anyone who would like to enjoy this experience is advised to register early for this event, as it typically sells out.
The menu that will be on offer during the tea includes lots of light dishes like quiche and sandwiches as well as fresh fruit. Scones will also be served, accompanied by lemon curd, Devonshire cream and also jam. The steeped tea will flow freely, and the meal will be rounded out with a variety of petite desserts.
The Flower Fields are located on Carlsbad Ranch, and it has more than 50 acres of blooming ranunculus in a wide assortment of colors. Those who attend the tea are welcome to bring along a camera, so they can take photos of the floral display.
