Carlsbad event to make a big splash
A Halloween-themed event in Carlsbad is sure to give families a day to remember, although they make find themselves getting wet.
Alga Norte Aquatic Center has invited local families to grab their swimsuits and enjoy an aquatic Halloween celebration. The event will have lots of spooky fun on offer, with the venue’s splash pad also open.
The festivities will see kids and parents alike hit the pool for games and other fun, and prizes will be presented for those who earn them. A floating pumpkin patch is on the agenda, and for the safety of the guests, only US coast guard approved flotation devices and pool noodles will be permitted.
As well as the water-based activities, the function will offer lawn games and bounce houses. Food may be purchased on site, and wristbands, which are $10.00 each, are required to participate. These may be purchased at the gate or in advance at the Aquarium Center.
A pool, community center, or other venue can be a fun location to host a special event. A poster printing company can prepare items that may be helpful in building the buzz about an upcoming activity.
