Carlsbad evening of comedy to have nerdy edge
This March, Carlsbad will be “nerding it up” with a night of comedy that will exercise both the audience’s minds as well as their laughing muscles.
Comedian Tim Lee started out as a scientist, and he will use that knowledge as the basis for his routine. He will include visual aids in his act, and the audience members can expect to enjoy some PowerPoint fun as part of the show.
The upstairs performance space that makes up part of Carlsbad’s El Tejate will be the venue for this evening of intellectual comedy, and the show will start at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased for $10 each.
As well as Dr. Lee, an assortment of other scientists who have turned comedian will be taking to the stage. It was noted that the performers will include some of the state’s top “nerd comedians”, and that will all be offering their own unique take on life.
