The Rotary Club gives residents of Carlsbad and the people who call it home a way to give back to their community. To this end, it has made arrangements to host a fall-themed celebration, and kids and adults alike are invited to join in the fun.
The local chapter of the Rotary Club has planned an afternoon and evening of fun that will offer a taste of a German Oktoberfest celebration. It will feature authentic German food and lots of activities, and live demonstrations are also on the agenda.
Those who plan on attending the festivities have been advised to arrive hungry, as there will be lots of food options to choose from. Sauerkraut, bratwursts and other sausages, and chicken schnitzels will all be on offer, as will treats such as kettle corn and apple strudel.
Once they have enjoyed their meal, guests at the event will be able to play some games, try their luck in the costume contest, go on the rides or just sit back, relax and enjoy the music. Both craft and domestic beers will be available throughout the day, and tickets for the occasion start at $15.
