Carlsbad asked to show support for area community center
The Community Resource Center provides the Carlsbad area with a variety of assistance, and it is reaching out to the public seeking support for its annual fundraiser.
The Center works hard throughout the year to provide shelter, food and safety to all those who need it, and it gives area residents a chance to help their neighbors in need. Its “Hope From Home” fundraiser will be a virtual event, and the theme for the year will be an English tea party.
Anyone who would like to take part will be able to order tea party boxes ahead of time, and the monies collected from their sales will be added to those raised through a silent auction and general event tickets. Anyone who purchased a Tea Box will have it delivered to them by a volunteer, and these will be filled with treats, teas, and even a tea towel printed with a unique graphic design.
The function’s logo design is made up of yellow and gray, with the organizers saying they feel these colors represent strength and hope for the future. A printer’s graphic artists can prepare a logo design for this sort of activity, including whichever colors for other elements a customer wishes.
The date for this year's Community Resource Center’s tea-themed fundraiser will be April 24. It will take place online, and tickets are on sale now.
