The San Diego Botanic Garden, which claims to be one of the top 10 gardens of its kind on the whole continent, will soon be hosting its signature fundraising event.
Botanical gardens give the public a chance to experience a touch of nature, and often contain plants that are rare, hard to find or difficult to grow under cultivated conditions. Guests at the Carlsbad area function will offer both food and drink in a garden-themed setting. There will be plenty of floral decor to admire and live entertainment will help to make the evening complete.
The plans for the gala affair include gourmet fare and a selection of signature cocktails. There will also be educational displays and activities that will give the attendees an opportunity to learn more about the botanical garden, its past, and also its plans for the future. A silent auction will also be included in the evening, and the ticketholders will be able to bid on an assortment of experiences.
