The bond between fathers and daughters will be celebrated in Show Low next month.
The City Campus Gym will be the site of the upcoming Daddy Daughter Dance, which has a theme this year of “Fantastic Voyage.” Fathers help their daughters “navigate” their way through life, which is the inspiration behind the motif for the evening. The venue is ADA compliant and offers easy access to everyone.
Every girl will be given a souvenir necklace, and there will be snacks, refreshments, door prizes, a photo booth, and, of course, dancing. Wristbands can be picked up at the Show Low Family Aquatic Center until 5.00 pm on February 9, or until the bands are sold out. The Aquatic Center is at 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs.
The origin of father-daughter dances is uncertain, but it has become a beloved tradition in many communities. Organizers of special events like this will often use poster printing to create fun and attractive advertisements to promote them.
The Daddy Daughter Dance – Fantastic Voyage is scheduled for Friday, February 9, from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm. The City Campus Gym is at 620 E. McNeil, and the event is for girls up to the age of 12. Tickets are $15 for a father and one daughter, and any additional daughters pay $5 each.
