Several events are planned for the Montgomery area this month, and they are open to the public in support of worthwhile charities.
The Young Lawyers Section of Montgomery County Bar Association will be hosting a day at the Wynlakes Golf and Country Club in East Montgomery to benefit the Brantwood Children’s Home. The annual FORE the LOVE of our Children Golf and Tennis Tournament on Monday, September 14 has 12 golf sponsorship levels ranging from $250 for a hole to a $10,000 title sponsorship.
A Zoobilation will be held at the Montgomery Zoo on Thursday, September 17, at 6:00 pm, serving specialty cocktails and foods from regional eateries accompanied by live entertainment. This will raise funds for a new touch-and-feel Stingray exhibit and educational facility. Attendees will also get a chance to bid on a wide collection of silent auction items.
After that will be the 10th anniversary Breakfast for Babies, funds from which go to support the March of Dimes. From 5:30 am to 9:00 am on Friday, September 18, those who drive up and through Chappy’s Deli can get a breakfast of juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, Millie Ray’s sweet roll, Conecuh sausage, and cheese grits for a $7 donation. A donation of $25 will add a 10th anniversary limited edition t-shirt to the deal.
The organizers of these events are most likely turning to local Print companies to create materials to promote these events to the public.
