The Christmas Lights Festival is a holiday tradition that has been a part of the River Region for generations. Montgomery Zoo, where the event is being held, will be decorated to celebrate Christmas with plenty of lights and carols. Santa will be there to take in those last-minute requests for the gifts that people really want. The zoo will also be selling membership plans and the opportunity to adopt an animal, which are gifts that animal lovers are sure to appreciate. The zoo’s Overlook Café is where several performers and artists will come together to keep the crowd resonating with the spirit of Christmas, thanks to songs, dancing, and music. The groups that will be performing include performers form local schools, clubs, and community organizations.
