Montgomery theater plans free showing of The Polar Express

New Vision Theaters invites everyone to join them for a free night at the movies to see the popular holiday film.

The event takes place just a few days before Christmas and is the perfect way to get everyone in a happy holiday spirit. The theater has eliminated the usual admission fee and ask that all attendees bring one can of non-perishable food instead. All the food collected will go to the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

The Montgomery Area Food Bank serves 35 counties across Alabama. The food bank helps to provide for the immediate needs of families in the Montgomery area as well as to help families becomes self-sufficient for a brighter future.

The Free Movie and Holiday Food Drive is on December 22nd and 23rd. The movies will begin at 10:00 am each day and last about 90 minutes. The advertising states that guests cannot buy tickets or call ahead to reserve seats. New Vision Theaters encourages people to arrive early if they wish to attend the holiday event because entry will end once the theater is at capacity.
