Wind Creek Montgomery recently reopened its doors after an expansion project costing $65 million.
Three restaurants have been added to the property, offering 10,000 feet of dining space, as well as a barbershop and salon, a deluxe swimming pool, and a hotel, which will be opened later in December. The hotel will be five stories in height and have 123 luxury rooms. The property has created 250 new jobs, many of which will most likely require business card printing services.
According to Tribal Chair and CEO of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, which owns Wind Creek Atmore, Wind Creek Montgomery, and Wind Creek Wetumpka, this project is a milestone for the Poarch Creek Indians. In addition, many people who belong to the tribe and those who do not worked together to enhance the property.
Tim Martin, CEO and President of Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority, the company that managed the development of the project, commented that the property and new hotel will be a big boost for the Tribe and the state. Montgomery will now have a place for family-friendly entertainment that celebrates the past, embraces the future, and features the best of the South.
The General Manager of Wind Creek Montgomery, Jake Carlton, said that the property will deliver a truly unique experience to visitors.
