The fourth installment of the upcoming MGM Burger Bash will let the public decide who makes the best burger in the city.
Organizers recommend that all guests come to this event hungry. Every ticket purchase allows the holder to sample every burger submitted to the competition. The participants place their vote after tasting each of the entries. All burgers will be prepared and cooked on the scene, and plenty of beer will be available to pair with each. Attendees can also receive water instead of beer for no fee.
The title of Best Burger is a coveted prize that will likely be included in the winning restaurant's Banners and poster printing. In addition, the preparer of the winning burger also receives a prize of $1,000. The organizers plan to release a list of all participating restaurants before the day of the competition.
General admission tickets are $25 per person, or two for $45 and includes the burger tasting. VIP tickets are $50 each and include the tasting, VIP beer cup, and a 2018 Burger Bash T-shirt. Non-VIP ticket holders can purchase a beer cup for $10. Every ticketholder gets to place one vote. All ages are welcome to attend, but an ID is required for beer purchases.
The event takes place on October 18. Gates open at Lower Dexter Avenue in Montgomery at 5:00 PM and the tasting begins at 5:30 PM. Tickets are available at the Eventbrite website.
