The Montgomery area is bustling with activity this month, as it starts off with several events, many of which will not only be fun and entertaining, but also assist nonprofit organizations in the area.
Newsletter printing may be used by the various groups to promote their activities, and provide more details about the charities that will benefit from the events.
The month starts with a VIP Reception and Dinner at the Montgomery Convention Center at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa. This will be the Benefit Dinner for Faulkner University for 2015 and will host the renowned journalist, Tom Brokaw. The event will be this evening, October 1, with the reception starting at 5:30 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm.
Also today, at the first Tickled Pink Woman’s Expo, American Idol star and singer-songwriter and Jessica Meuse will entertain to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There will also be vendors of food, health and lifestyle, fashion, and fitness and beauty services and products. The Joy to Life Foundation will benefit from the proceeds of the event. This one gets underway at 11:00 am.
At the Crooked Oaks Hunting Lodge in Notasulga of Coach Pat Dye’s, a night ‘Under the Stars’ will feature live entertainment, food, auctions, and other festivities to benefit Auburn University and the School of Nursing at Auburn University Montgomery. The evening will begin at 5:00 pm on October 2.
