The 2018 World Championships of Cornhole 13 will take place in Montgomery this year, along with the Outdoor Holeheadz Festival.
The best cornhole players in the world will flock to Montgomery to compete for the title of best in their division, as well as for their share of the $68,000 prize money available. The World Championships of Cornhole 13 is a five-day event that will include matchups in women’s and men’s singles and doubles, junior title competitions, and much more.
Anyone that would like to compete can form a team of four players and take part in the open team Slyder Cup competition, which also offers a variety of prizes for the three top-performing teams.
Coinciding with the tournament organized by the American Cornhole Organization is the HoleHeads festival. The party will include a variety of fun activities including live music, food trucks, and a beer garden for local craft beer. Fans can get their banner printing done for their favorite player and join the festivities.
The championship event lasts from July 24 to July 28 with events taking place from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. at the Cramton Bowl located at 1022 Madison Avenue in Montgomery. The Slyder Cup competition is from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on July 24. Admission is free for spectators to the championship. Registration for the Slyder Cup is $295 per four-player team.
