Electric Hero, alias musician Chris Clarke, is currently on tour and due to appear in Newport towards the end of October.
He has consistently, for more than 30 years, played bass and produced many hundreds of records for artists. This was largely carried out at his own North London Stax recording set-up, Reservoir Studios.
An erstwhile member of Indie Peter Astor's Holy Roader and the country band Rockingbird. Chris has also played and worked with diverse acts such as the singer, Madam, rockers, The Jim Jones Review, and on the soundtrack of the movie 'In the Land of Blood and Honey' with Dado Dzihan.
His long-time association with London's bluegrass outfit Foghorn Leghorn, even saw him running their club at the Betsey Trotwood. A major force behind the multi-award-winning Champions of the World for a decade, he decided to make a solo album.
Chris got together a selection of young musicians including Elliot, his nephew, on drums and guitarist Jamie Alex Pope at Reservoir Studios. From Syd Barrett to Stealer's Wheel and Prefab Sprout with a touch of Nick Lowe, this is the essence of 'Another Time'.
