The Newport Gin Festival, organised by Gin Festivals in Wales, is due to be held in the city in mid-November. It offers a well -prepared programme, with a group of carefully chosen locally hand-crafted and British small-batch gins. This is achieved by working in close co-operation with local producers and service providers from all across Wales.
The festival should be of interest not only professionals and specialists but also to the amateur enthusiast and those simply eager to learn more about the drink. There will be multiple on-site gin bars and plenty of time to meet and talk with the distillers, sample the product and even purchase a bottle.
Other notable attractions include a free traditional tapas, a prosecco fizz bar, musical entertainment, a games section and an Instagram (dress up) photo frame. All bars are 18 plus and use a token system available at a booth.
The regular tickets cost £15 and £10 for the "early bird" with no booking fees and are non-refundable. This is inclusive of an introductory gin liqueur, a festival glass to keep, a guide to gin and a branded pen and bag. Brochure printing is often viewed as the key to good event presentation.
The Newport Gin Festival will take place over two sessions between 1pm and 5pm and 7pm and 11pm on Saturday 14th November at the Lysaght Institute, Newport.
