Newport date pencilled in by bilingual musician

The Welsh singer/songwriter, Bronwen Lewis, is on her 'More From The Living Room' tour and is due to appear in Newport in mid-June.

This bilingual multi-instrumentalist hails from Neath and has been playing both guitar and piano since early childhood. She delivers an eclectic mix of folk, country and blues in her own individual and inimitable style.

Bronwen first came to public attention in 2013 on the BBC talent show The Voice, with an acclaimed rendition of Sting's 'Fields of Gold' that included a verse in the Welsh language. It sparked the interest of leading music executives.

She subsequently recorded the 'Bread and Roses' theme song from the BAFTA-winning film 'Pride', and also featured in the movie. Lockdown saw her go viral on Tik Tok, giving 45 concerts that amassed over 500,000 views in total. Her talents have more recently been showcased on DJ Greg James's BBC Radio One Breakfast Show.

After the success of last year's tour, Bronwen is now back live onstage, and is set to perform a combination of original material, some Welsh music, recent hits as well as her own personal favourite tracks.

Tickets cost £22 for adults and £13.25 for children. Promotional Products can be useful when seeking to publicise a future concert or musical event.

Bronwen Lewis's gig has a starting time of 7.30pm on Friday, June 16 at The Riverfront, Newport.
