A show paying tribute to a beloved band of musicians is arriving at Newport’s signature events venue this summer.
Newport Coldplay fans can soon enjoy a night designed just for them at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales. August will find the esteemed venue presenting a show called “The Music of Coldplay by Candlelight” that features a cast of first-class singers supported by a full live band.
Major events venues like conference centres often use specialist poster printing services that can create large format promotional materials for the productions they present.
The summertime concert will transport audiences to a candle lit world where they can hear their favourite Coldplay tracks as never before. The set-list features hits like “Adventure Of A Lifetime”, “Sky Full Of Stars”, “Viva La Vida”, “Yellow”, “Hymn For The Weekend”, “Speed of Sound”, and “The Scientist” among many others.
Formed in 1997 in the UK capital while at university, Coldplay continues to record studio albums and perform stadium shows around the world. Led by pianist and vocalist Chris Martin, the band have received countless accolades including a Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2008.
The Music of Coldplay by Candlelight will be live in the auditorium of ICC Wales on Sunday, August 17. Tickets are priced upwards from £30 per person and the venue is situated at Coldra Woods in Newport.
