The Data Protection and Privacy Conference, organised by the Executive Leaders Network, is due to be held in Newport in mid-October.
This conference explores key topics in the sector, focusing on the latest developments analysed by a selection of authoritative speakers. It should prove to be of particular interest to data protection officers and to all those involved in the data protection industry.
The world is now heavily dependent on technology, so it is essential to build up strong business security structures together with contingency Plans to handle any potential failure. Hence, the importance of ensuring good departmental practices throughout an organisation.
The conference will examine a series of issues, namely maintaining data flows post-Brexit, the CCPA and its UK impact, recent developments and conclusions on GDPR, as well as sessions on ePrivacy regulatory compliance.
The agreed speakers include Tania Joyce, DSM at BG, and Debbie Evans, DPO at Rentokil. There will also be contributions from operatives representing Astra Zenica, Centrica, the RSPB and Teva UK.
A ticket costs £138.07 and gives full access to the event, including online materials, meals and refreshments, alongside a chance to network with over 200 individuals. It is probably worthwhile having some extra Business Cards printed for the occasion.
The Data Protection and Privacy Conference will take place between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Thursday 15th October at the International Convention Centre, Newport.
