Biggest Welsh business events bound for Newport

Newport is set to host a single-day global business conference later this year that is described by organisers as the biggest event of its kind for Wales.

The Welsh Government Investment Summit will be held in Newport this winter. A major event with an international reach, the summit is focused on showcasing Wales as a desirable location for overseas investing. Today there are approximately 1,480 foreign-owned firms operating across Wales, employing over 174,000 workers.

The upcoming summit will let business leaders from Wales and abroad connect and discuss future opportunities. From company heads to C-suite executives, high-level professionals participating in conferences and conventions often count on respected business card printing services for cards boasting their title and brand.

Early details of the event were first released in spring by Eluned Morgan, First Minister of Wales. She commented that economic growth was her top priority ad that she looked forward to greeting major businesses at the event. The member of the House of Lords added that the summit provided Wales with an opportunity to share the abundance of possibilities it offered with the world.

The Welsh Government Investment Summit will now run at the five-star hotel, the Celtic Manor Resort and the International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales on Monday, December 1. Both venues are conveniently located in Coldra Wood in Newport.
